KIRI WIDE-CHEST
An individual wide chest with small, medium
and large drawers. The main feature of this chest
is the asymmetrical manner in which the
drawers have been laid out. The long drawer at
the top right-hand side is the correct length for
storing kimonos wrapped in paper.
As paulownia is effective in guarding against
mold and insects, it is perfect for storing furs,
silks, and other delicate materials. The drawer
at the top left-hand side is partitioned into
storage compartments and is useful for storing
small and valuable objects.
